mIx iT uP Beginner Piecing and Quilting Table Runner
Join Carol in learning the Beginning steps to piecing and quilting in creating this table runner for your home. In this table runner class you will learn the basics of how to piece and put your blocks together. You will learn to stitch in the ditch. This is a two day class. Carol will also demonstrate the Accuquilt cutting machine and show how this method simplifies cutting your strips and blocks. If you do not complete your binding Carol will come back in on Friday Sept 20th to assist with you completing your runner with Binding.
Stitch a versatile table runner that looks great pieced in a variety of colors and prints.
TABLE RUNNER: Finished size: 171⁄2×461⁄2" Finished blocks: 12" square
This is a Beginner Piecing and Quilting Class
Thursday and Friday Sept 5th & 6th 10am-4pm each day.
You will need to bring the following to class:
* A sewing machine in working order that you know how to operate.
*1/4" piecing foot
* An ERASABLE fabric marking pen
* cutting ruler/ rotary cutter (We sell these if you do not own one.)
*Come into the shop & select your fabric choices prior to the class dates. (6 different coordinating fabrics)
* Neutral Thread or thread to dissapear in fabrics of your choice. We recommend Quilters Select or Isacord.
*Snips
*Seam Ripper
*Clips or Pins (to hold your pieces together while stitching.)
